Well, if you have not tried taking a shower with your bird, it's about time. Our loving relationship with a parrot always involves a mind game because... PARROTS ARE BORN TO PLAY. You do need a non-porous smooth surface for attaching the three suction cups securely. If you place it consistently in the shower room, check the attachment regularly. We do find the sandy surface a bit rough and therefore include a roll of the self adhesive bandage (often referred to as Vet Wrap) for you to wrap the perch. Of course, like many of the disobedient kids, Willow like to run around the bathroom all wet. Some floor drying afterward may be needed. Oh well!
When you are taking shower alone, you can "park" or fold the perch flat against the wall.
