Is it the unusual brown color or the image of a gentle buck or the "birch eyes" staring at me? There is a sense of coolness in this design we can't explain. Perhaps that is the power of arts. This is not the usual lovely warm colors we tend to select but hey, coming home to say "hello" to a quiet friend, why not? We probably would place the mat in the bedroom but it is perfectly fine for bathroom, kitchen or anywhere indoor or outdoor. "Hello friend, I am home!"
