We are aware of some defective plastic support panels were mixed in with our Basic Pak-o-pet line (see Basic Pak-o-pet). If the support panel of these line in Blue or Grey color broke, please give us a call and provide us with your mailing address. We will send you a replacement. These carriers were mostly sold in 2006 and 2007. In the past, some snap buttons for the support panels, mostly in the back wall position of the carrier, may come undone when the carrier is in use. This is due to the pressure from the changed shape of the larger size carrier with a wide body and not a defect. We have learned from the result and added a velcro strip on the bottom to reinforce the attachment since shipment from late 2003. There were also three reported cases of broken shoulder strap clasp in our history and a few other defects. "Normal" defects are unfortunately unavoidable in manufacturing.
